Help with rim selection.

I was thinking of getting black corbra R Rims on my 94 gt tripleblack Vert. Can anyone find some pictures of them on a car like that or what would you guys like to see on it?

Have you looked at saleens? I've always thought a set of black saleens on a black car is clean looking.

what will you do if the black doesnt match the paint on the car, then you will have two different color blacks on your car and it will look out of place.

good point, out of all the people that i have asked nobody but you have brought that to my attention....i guess i would have to repaint the car and not ready to do that yet.....thanks that takes me back to my original plan with chrome cobras(or Replicas), always safe to go with them and have a good look....

Re: Help with rim selection.

Cobra R's have been played out for a good long while. I would recommend going to Ford & Ford Racing Performance Parts - GEFRacing.com and seeing what other rims ford has to offer that you like, then we can see if someone like AFS makes them for cheaper.

I had the factory grey bullits but i painted them to match my car... I used the factory paint code and scuffed the whole rim with a grey scotch brite pad and some scuffing paste (which both gives the paint somthing to bite to and cleans the wheel) then i taped off the lip and the wheel seperate and sprayed the black and let that set and took the tape off the lip and cleared the whole wheel so there was no paint edge... the wheels match the car perfectly
