Help on buildin up motor

Hello, I have a 95 mustang gt 5 speed 123k miles. I just bought a couple days ago and I was wondering what I could add on to give it some quick horsepower? It has msd distributor an ignition an thats pretty much everything done to it. I have a grand to spend right now

What are your plans with the car? Your engine platform can be as wild or mild as you want.

Start shopping for deals in heads, cam, and intakes. Best bang for your buck out there.

Look into rebuilding the engine while upgrading. You could always do a stroker set up. 123k is alot of miles, although we have seen quite the beatings on those platforms.

I agree with a rebuild If you spend time sourcing your parts you can do it fairly cheap.

i want my car to be a street car, not really concerned with the track. I really dont want it to be too wild where i keep breakin **** every other day lol. Im just trying to figure out where to start. I know my gears need to be changed im doing that next week i was thinkin 3.73 and my friend keeps telling me 4.10 still cant figure out which

If you just want it for the street then get 3.73. You'll get up to speed faster and wont kill your gas millage
