92 won't idle after plenum reinstalled

hey guys were slowly getting car back together. bbk headers h pipe under drive pulleys bbk cold air in fender kit new valve covers but after all this and the plentium was painted we can't get the car to idle now anyone havde any thoughts, we did have the plentium painted before putting it back on

got to a be a vaccum leak somewhere, either a line or the gasket itself

I agree. Check all your vacuum line routing and make sure the intake plenum isn't leaking.

If this was all done at one time, you may try to rotate, or clock, the mass air meter.

Plug wires ran wrong, or distributor timing way off.

Could be this.. OR.. what kind of paint was used? Did you get any on the gasket surfaces (where the gaskets sit?)

Is everything torqued properly? nothing OVERtorqued? Did you connect all the hoses/lines? Did anything drop in the way of the screen on the back bottom center of the manifold where the vacuum line goes in?

Will the car run if you're on the gas a little bit?

I'm happy to say the gasket had a very small knick in it at one of the ports 2nd one back from front to be exact. after a gasket change the car runs fine, and just dropped it off to get the 355 gear put in it tomorrow. thanks guys

thanks guys for the info but were good now just waiting to drive it with the 3:55 gear in it going to paint on sunday then new top and seats
