Transmission issues!!

My t-5 bt the dust. a friend of mine has a t-5 out of a 99 v6. Will this work in my 91 GT?? I know the bell housing is different. I heard that the input shaft is a little longer but it will still work.

Re: Transmission issues!!

I know a 99-04 T-5 (from a v6) will work in a v6 from 94-98. I would think it will work. I have heard both sides of the input shaft being to short to being the right size to being longer even...

The second issue is the 99+ have digital readouts not speedo gears so you will have to swap tailshafts with it.

Re: Transmission issues!!

The shaft lenght I say could be the downfall but I am not one hundred percent sure.
