Hey,

My car is at the dyno, and he's telling me that my 347stroker needs 30 pound injectors instead of the 24pound ones that I'm running? Any advice?

Re: Hey,

Has he tried tuning with the 24#? You'll be getting very close to the ceiling offered by them and you may very well need larger injectors for safest/best tune

Exactly, always better to tune down than tune up.

Well he said he can't tune it with the 24 pounds to the fullest because their not pushing out enough fuel.

and if your a super duper broke ***, you can get get sum from the junk yard off of a tbird super coupe. obviously you'll need two cars to pull them from, but at least you'll have xtra n case one or two take a poop on you. i got 12 of them for $54 from my junkyard. then i ohm matched the closest 8 and installed them. i got my 24lb. injectors from a couple of '01 taurus'. just an idea. after i bought my blower i was financialy challenged for a while...lol.

definatley go up to the 30's. worse cums to worse they can be tuned down to like 26lbs with an adj. regulator. and they can be tuned up to put out more than 30lbs. also if need be.

Re: Hey,

as the weather gets colder more fuel will be required due to the colder air. A tune that works in the summer might make you run out of injector in the winter~

if his air charge temperture sensor, oxyg sensor, and computer cant make the compensation changes from summer to winter then he's definatley got the wrong injector size. and or definatley needs a new person to tune his car.
