clutch bypass problem

So I recently bought a 90 mustang gt nd it came with a clutch bypass. Thats just so yu dont have to push in the clutch to start it. Well now my check engine light is on because of it and its not gunna pass smog with it. Can anybody help me out nd give me the steps to undoing it. Thanks!

It may have been bypassed at the clutch pedal interlock or the neutral safety switch

yea check to see if they took out the little switch that is pushed in when the clutch is pushed down, its probably easy to put it back right.

That really sucks.. The Check engine light comes on for more reasons than emissions failures on most OBDI vehicles, Have you flashed out the codes yet? Are you sure this switch is the reason for the MIL?

I ran the scanner and came up with code 67. In the book it says that it is a neutral safety curcuit failure
