New guy

Hey all... New to the forum. Just thought I would say hey. 94 GT hci car with 4.10s and lots of other fun stuff. It has been my baby for 4 years and was recently joined in the garage by anew project passed down through my wifes family. A sadly neglected though solid 68 Camaro. Not a brand guy, just love cars and goin fast... But I know which car I choose for goin fast. Hahaha. Attached is the only pic I have on my phone. I will look around and see if I can find more.

Hey question for yuh! If you have 4.10s in the rear how much room do you have left on the highway, what tranns set up you got and what gear you in with rpm's? Cause i have the 4 speed auto. I want higher gears, but i think 4.10's might be too high for me cause i want room to run on the highway! lol

Hey. I have a stock t5. I take the highway to work everyday and on the nice days that I take the car it usually pulls about 2800 +- 200 rpm at 75 mph. It turned 5th into another pulling gear in my car. Ive run 130+ with these gears in the rear and still had 1200-1500 rpm to pull until redline. I think 4.10s are great on a 5 speed, but plenty of people will disagree and say dont go above 3.73. Its really a matter of personal preference. Ive ridden in a 3.73 car with similar mods to mine and I much prefer the 4.10s. With an auto, I wouldnt go less than a 4.10.

You have one less gear but a different gearset and 4 is still an overdrive in your tranny. Ive never checked the mileage on the highway as Im not concerned with the mileage on my performance oriented car. If i was it would be set at base timing, i would run 87 octane and it would be bone stock. And i would never put my right foot down heavy. If i had to guess it prolly gets somewhere in the 10-12 range.
