Car almost skips when revved or driven

So, the past few days, when i crank my car up...i let it warm up, then rev it to get the choke off because its carbuerated. And, when i rev it, it kinda acts as if it were skipping, but its not skippingp, a few spark plugs were mis firing i think, because they were pretty dirty. And if im driving it up the driveway, and i get on it, it does the same thing. So, i decided to take the spark plugs out...spray them with electrical contact cleaner, scrub them with a steel wire brush, then spray them again. I did this to all of them except for th one on the left rear (if your standing facing the motor). I couldn't get it because one deep well socket was too long, and the ratchet bumped the header, and the other deep well was too short. so i figured i didnt want to really mess with it, the worst one was the left front, it was all black, but i got them all cleaned, put back in, cranked it up, and it ran smooth. Im going to get some new spark plugs pretty soon, it has auto lites now. The spit fire spark plugs are pretty good, but expnesive. I might go with them.

Just get some more Autolites, split fire plugs are not what they are cracked up to be. Personally I like NGK plugs, and have used them in all my cars. Nothing fancy and cost about the same as Autolites. Just my $.02!

This was just a thread of letting people know the problem. Lol. But yea, I'll probably get some auto lites then. Maybe new plug wires too? Hm lol
