Finally put my rear end today!

The wife bought me a used rear end for Christmas from my friend with 3.73's, new bearings, and seals. I finally made time to clean it up, paint it, new bushings, and put all the brakes and axles off my stock 94 unit. I put in today and made a few passes. It was everything I expected and more.

Re: Finally put my rear end today!

Very nice! I want to redo the rear in mine too but then I get to thinking about trading for a GT and starting on a V8. Congrats!

Congrats on putting it in your self! I did it on my 95 but they were 410's, it wasn't easy! Feels good to do it your self doesn't it? Good job!

Thanks you guys. I've done dozens of rear end swaps but this was my first time ever replacing the bushings on a rear end. The old ones came out pretty easy but I had to rig up a little tool to get the new ones in. They don't call me Jimmy for nothing. Lol
