ive never heard of oem being 1.45 im pretty sure they are 1.6 but anywho.... you may or may not have to adjust your idle..if your i.a.c. isnt too weak it shouldnt be an issue. it would be a good idea to swap for sum stronger valve springs if you got high miles on your motor. valve float isnt fun at all.
investing in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator wouldnt hurt either.
cam choice is totaly up to you. i run an e-cam with 1.7rr ..but lots ppl prefer dual pattern too. depending on how you wanna end up power wise and what you are gonna do with the car dictates cam choice. be honest with yourself though on budget and how you are gonna use the car...bigger isnt always better.
