torque box

inspected my 87 LX, lower control arm torque box on driver's side is bent upwards. car now sits lower on this side. is this repairable? all the other torque boxes are fine.

well are you abusing your stang ?? lol
if you are , I'd buy the battle boxes and have them welded in since you have to repair one ,you might as well fix and fortify all 4 of them .........
to answer your question : yes they are repairable

yes, big time ! lol

what is the repair procedure? a big sledge hammer (lol ?) and then bolt in & weld the battle box kit?

I think you cut out the current one sand weld in the entire new setup right? or are they just plates for reinforcement?

i dont think you have to weld them , but i put them in my old 88 convert and we welded them .........

no you put them over top the existing floor pan there's also install instructions on that link

i know that battle box kits are for reinforcement, but will installing the lower kit flatten out the floor pan (and raise that side up to its normal height)? or will the area need some friendly persuasion and/or cutting / welding repair? like in a chassis shop?
