Thinking of getting edelbrock air intake, cam, and heads for my 5.0 trying to keep it passing smog as its my DD. Any comments or suggestions? What kind of power increase might I see?

Re: Edelbrock

Do a search on Edelbrocks website, etc. I believe the basic stage1 heads (1.94 heads, Perfromer intake etc. has the EO number so you can legally use them, I know other people has passed smog checks in other states with these basic upgrades, but you may also call Edelbrock and inquire with them.

Go with the trick flow set up. Not sure about emissions testing. Should be ok with cats and smog pump.

Re: Edelbrock

Edelbock stuff is HIGH quality works great , good power
I've used there stuff before
I've also used trick flow , also good but depending on how big of a cam you use ,you'll have to get your pistons fly cut or new pistons to clear the valves ,,,,, i has a 550 lift cam and had to go with new pistons made to go with the trick flow heads ....
