I have a 1995 mustang gt. Recently my gauge lights will not turn on and neither do my headlights. The parking lights come on and so do my high beams just not my regular headlights. With the gauges the lights won't come on unless it is turned just to the right spot and if I hit a bump or something they will go out again same thing with the air conditioner lights and everything. The gauges work except for my gas gauge. Would that be a ground wire problem or do u think I need a new gauge cluster. I'm thinking about buying a new gauge cluster anyway so if anyone knows where I can find a nice cheap ones please let me know also.
could be the switch, if you pop out the headlight knob (EVIL PAIN, pm me for how to ) and then take out the black surround you can access the light knob setup, it could be there or it could be the gauge itself.

the gauge clusters have a plastic electronic pipeline pad that powers everything and has a habit of working itself loose. you can take it apart and meter all the connections. Adjust where necessary. the thing that bothers me here is the headlight issue, this is a new problem for me.
