Cobra intake

I can buy a cobra upper and lower intake for 200 used with no hardware. Would it be worth it as far as hp vs money

Depends. What kind of exhaust are you running. I can't see it being worth more than 10 hp but I am sure someone will chime in that has done the swap before

15 on a stock motor? im not real sure on that..but i cannot remember the flow numbers

2 hundred is a good price, but exactly what does "no hardware" entail?

Ya. That's best case scenario I think. The stocker isn't really that restrictive.... Is it svt

dont get me wrong, the cobra intake isnt horrible depending on how far you wanna push it (300hp give or take). it's definatley an improvement over stock. i would try to get a v8 explorer intake, its just a revised (better flowing version) of the original cobra.

but i figure by the time you go to your local speed shop and get a few gaskets and sum bolts from the hardware store, you should still be @ or under $250 maybe $260.

for what you will have in it i will say jump on it. maybe try to talk him down a few more bucks for no bolts and gaskets.

also calculate in your larger throttle body and egr plate or it's pointless to even stick it on in the firsat place. overall itsa good deal.
