fixing electrical

Ok I got a 91 fox and I'm rebuilding it. So far the only thing that really bugs me is the electrical. There is to many splices and torn wires it's annoying. So does any one know if it's worth fixing or buying new harnesses? Also I live in fort worth Tx so if u know a good shops or performance shops that do good work let me know. Thanks
