Trying to install new swaybar endlinks

Hey everyone,

I bought an Eibach swaybar kit for my '93 LX 5.0 and installing the rear was a piece of cake. The front swaybar took a little more time but I got it in. The problem I came across is the new endlinks that came with the kit. They are definitely beefier than stock but are a little over an inch shorter. With all the bushings in place there is no thread visible to tighten it down with the nut. Is there a trick to getting this thing on? The stock piece is 10" long and new one is 8 3/4". I haven't called Eibach yet about this but thought maybe there's a trick to getting this thing on. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

I have the same problem, I don't have an engine in my car though. I was hoping the weight of the motor would help. If not just buy a longer screw at ace.

Thanks for the reply. I've already gone to Ace and Home Depot and no luck finding a longer bolt. The guy at Ace said they don't carry hardened steel bolts that long. I'm gonna try a couple auto places to see if they have any. I called Eibach but the tech never called me back. I'm gonna call back tomorrow. I'm also installing a set of Eibach springs so I have some time for this.
