Re: crate engine

I don't think it will fit....the cubic inches is what 350+?!?!?! I know that in an '01 Cobra the 5.4 which is 330ish barely fit and they had to do some cutting in the hood and mounts and all to get it to work...........I'm honestly not sure how big you could go........you might try looking at just another 302 that puts out more power...but I just have some knowledge on it all I'm not as good as a lot of the guys on here by far..

Why don't you just go for the coyote crate engine.

Re: crate engine

Like Brett said...........it'll fit.....but that's a lot of money to drop in there............what is your incentive for doing this??? just wanting to get more power or do you need a new engine?!?!? just curious...

The Coyote engine is pretty much double what the stock '94 GT came with. Pretty sure '94 was 210hp and the Coyote is an underrated 412hp.

Do a whippled 347 stroker, or 408 stroker if you want to go all out.

If that's the case I'm going with the coyote I didn't kno the 94 was that low no sense in spending an extra 5000 for 90 HP do u kno if it comes with everything to install it like the edelbrock does?

Re: crate engine

Search for the engine on Latemodel Restoration Supply's website. That should tell you what you need to know about it. I think it includes a harness for a bit over $6000.
