PLEASE HELP ME (1988 Mustang GT)

So I have a 1988 mustang GT (red). It has 34k original miles and i am the original owner. My dad bought me the car in 1988 and has all the original paperwork and what not. the car is completely stock and is almost completely flawless minus a tiny dent in the front right quarter panel. The car has NEVER SEEN RAIN OR SNOW. i was driven a little bit the first 2 years he had it in the summers just every now and then and it sat in the garage covered until last summer where we got it back out. The car literally looks brand new and it has T-Tops which were pretty uncommon. i am wondering realisticly if i wanted to sell the car what could the car sell for? PLEASE HELP

I think it matters a lot where you live. Idk about wisconsin. Down here I would ask $8k-$10k. Prob should bring $8k to the right buyer easy. Sounds like a great piece. Post some pics.

Where I'm at you could probably get between $7K and $9K. Post some pics if you can, would really like to see it!

Re: PLEASE HELP ME (1988 Mustang GT)

I agree 7k to 9k tops would be my guess also. It really depends on the market you ar ein for sure but also the sales seem to be down on cars like this now at least around here. I kind of wish you were closer to my area I would take a look at it for sure and maybe could help you a bit more since I have a small dealership I use to only sell friends cars etc.

Would love to see some pictures of it also.

I think you could get 10k from the right buyer if your description is accurate.

Oh I agree he may be ableto get more for sure you may have to sit on it for some time before it sell for that much for sure. Some people really hunt down t tops cars so you have that on your side also for sure.

That is a damn nice fox. What all these guys are saying is pretty much spot on 7-10k depending on the buyer.

fox bodies get way more than they should on the market when they are beat half to death, now you have one with great miles great condition... you should be able to get a great price as well... its just sad someone sees your car for 10k then decides their 200k mile POS is worth the same lol

I don't think they are as many people nowadays that care how many miles is on a car, especially mustangs. Everybody I know goes for the 3 thousand dollars car and spends a couple grand the first week on heads, cam, intake and all other parts that goes with those. Don't get me wrong it sound like a great car but I would think nobody but a car collector would pay 10k and even then I think it's a little early for people to collect one. But just my two cents
