Re: injector question

Welcome n00blet

If you install 24's on the stock MAF, it will not run well if at all...if you do injectors & MAF at the same time, you should be fine

Re: injector question

well im sure that's your issue, and y the stock meter runs better than the calibrated one. stick the stock meter back on it till u get an adjustable regulater and a fuel pressure gauge. your gonna need to tune the fuel pressure to get it to run with the calibrated meter. but once u got the right fuel pressure dialed in...you'll be very happy.

Re: injector question

dont scrimp on the fuel pressure gauge... u need to see where your at. 1-2lbs. increments makes a huge difference.

Had the same issue with my 92. Had to spin it to a few different positions before it acted right. It's not a straight run pipe so turbulence will build up some and alter the air flow where the sensor may be.

wow... are you sure? that's awful low. is that a stock fuel pump? that's with the 24lbs injectors right? if so, i think you may need to upgrade your fuel pump, at least one step up to a 110lph. the stock pump max's at 88lph.

anything below 25-28lbs and i think your gonna start running into spray pattern issues.

fyi.... stock fuel pressure setting is 38-40psi, and your at 34 at idle with no load on the motor. if your filter is ok you need to upgrade fuel pumps bud

Fuel pressure is 39psi with no vacuum applied to gauge, a QUALITY calibrated maf for 24lbs inj will run much better than a stock or c&l meter - no clocking will be needed!
