Price help?

I'm looking at a 1992-93 mustang 4cyl manual right now. But the guy wants 3800 obo, now I ain't paying that much for it I can already tell but I don't know a reasonable price would be. The body looks great, bigger tire on the back and a new radio system apparently?
I just dont know what to offer the guy.

Re: Price help?

If it looks and runs good, I'd offer $1500. I bought my 93 a few years ago for $1000 and probably over paid a bit due to the condition of the paint and interior, but it was a low mileage car for it's age.

$3800 is a bit steep. The only 4 bangers that I think would pull that kind of money would be the turbo'ed 4's.

Re: Price help?

Think I'll try that. I'll try and grab some pictures of it. It looks really nice. I'm just not paying 3800 when I'm Only making maybe 100 a week.

A 5.0 with a manual in good shape would be worth 3800. Even if this thing was in great shape i would offer no more than 2k. I bought a 2002 focus for 2800 with 48k miles on it.

Totally got it. 1500 definitely worthit. New paint. Alpine stereo. New wheels/tires. I'm in love my dad got me some 5.0 emblems in it. I'll eventually work my way to it. Got more pics in the intro section.but she runs. She's my baby haha.

Re: Price help?

NICE! Pure white = a blank canvas.
Now get one of those headlight polishing kits and go to work so you can see where you are going at night.

Looks great! See if you can clean up those headlights or find some nice used ones. That kind of thing really makes these cars stand out.
