I've got motorlite spark plugs in the 89. Just some new motor craft platinum ones. Ive also got 8mm plug wires. Don't think they're stock. Can't get the ratchet and socket past the header on the left and right side at the back. But I'll try to replace them soon. Opinions on the plug wires and the new plugs?

I changed them yesterday after I posted this. And yeah, I meant autolite. But the new ones are motorcraft. It's an early 80s 5.0 that didn't come with e7 heads. I've got e7s on it.

The wires and plugs are fine. I have ran the Autolite plugs and Motorcraft wires on several of my vehicles with no real issues from either.

If I remember correctly I had to use a swivel headed ratchet, very short extension & plug socket to get to those plugs.

Yeah. That's what I used.
