Just picked up k member

I just picked up a tubular k member not sure what brand anyway to tell? Also is it a necessity to use the tubular control arms and all the other upgrade suspension items? It may see the track 3 or 4 times in the season I'm out of Michigan. So mostly street driven.

On some K-Members it is not always necessary to use the tubular A-Arms and other upgrades. It will depend upon what brand you have.

Since you say that your car is mostly street driven here is some information I posted on another K-Member post.

Quote:
FYI - I did a lot of research on K-Members because I want to use one on my primarily street driven 86 GT. I contacted almost every manufacturer out there and asked them if their K-Members were suitable for street duty. All but one of them said their product was not suitable for street use.

Maximum Motorsports is the only (to my knowledge at least) K-Member manufacturer that makes one that is rated safe and strong enough for street duty.

Just wanted to share that with you to keep you safe and maybe save you some grief and expense.
