Bama tunes

Does anyone know about the Bama pre loaded tunes for the SCT chips....I think I'll need one just to get to the dyno shop for an actual tune since I'll be running a SCT 90mm big Air one my '86 mass air GT! Any input would be much appreciated!

I have one in mine, it works fine but I'm gonna have a shop load custom tunes in it

Thanks, I guess I'll get one and if I like it I'll run it for a while and save a little extra for a dyno tune!

The dyno shop may charge the same price for the chip with their tunes if you can buy it from them. The shop down the road told me that after I bought mine and I would have been about $20 cheaper.

Really...thanks for the info...I'll have to drop by there and see how much they charge, American muscle had it for $280 or something like that with a tune! Hopefully the shop will be cheaper

Yeah it was 269 at AM, and the shop around here was gonna charge 249 and install 3 custom tunes on it. They were even gonna give a discount on install and dyno time if I would have bought it from them. Kinda wish I would have talked to them first.

I had another question about the Bama tunes? I looked on the SCT website and Bama links and everywhere else I could think of but can't seem to figure out if they make a tune for a supercharger? Everything I saw online said either naturally aspirated or nitrous injected....nothing about supercharged?

I believe they do offer a tune for forced induction. I would call them and confirm it, when I ordered mine the tune selection was acting up so I called to set mine and they were more than helpful.

Re: Bama tunes

they have a good reputation but they wont be better than a custom dyno tune as long as the place you know ACTUALLY knows what they are doing... which is hard to find sometimes.
