1/8 mile time!

So just wondering what's everyones 1/8 mile times? I ran a 8.38 without 3rd gear. And shifting too soon into second my tires wouldn't stop spinning and was afraid of messing my engine up.

Re: 1/8 mile time!

8.38 is pretty good. My '02 WS6 (basically stock, auto, on drag radials) ran 8.5@85ish. The 'vette isn't quite as quick. I think 8.7 is the best I've got it to do. It's much more of a highway car and less of a drag racer, though.

You can get close by dividing your quarter mile time by 1.56.

12.5
1.56
8.01
