automatic shifter!

hey guys,

welp you know how all of the manual mustangs have a big choice of knobs and short shifters? what about us automatic guys? like, i havent seen any nice shifters in a while for automatic mustangs!!! them racist bastards... Are there any out there??
oh yea, for some reason i do not have to hit my brake to shift into drive... i just push the button? i thought you had to hold the brake??? lol

You should have to kold the brake. And if you want a shifter you should've bought a standard! Lol

once you're out of park you don't have to hold the brake.......atleast on all the autos I have driven....

On the AOD cars (fox bodies) you don't have to press the brake before taking out of park or slamming into reverse.


Onto the original topic, there really isn't alot out there. I was lucky enough to pick up one of the MGW auto knobs in the original design before they went out of production.

B&m has some hammer shifters but may require just a tad trimming of the console from what iv heard anyway

B&M have been known to cause issues getting the key out when putting it in park on 05+

I have an automatic but my lil sis is teaching me how to drive a manual so that I can get my GT500 after I graduate from the Phd program. I'm practicing on her miata. But I do agree, not much choice. Guess we just aren't part of the club. Like that one lone kid in the neighborhood that is not allowed in the treehouse.
