Late model restoration has a shock, spring, and strut kits all together in a kit starting at 350. If your car has any vibration that makes it not run smooth then u could buy a aluminum drive shaft. Eabilch has some really good springs, And strange has some excellent adjustable shocks

Re: 86 mustang feeling.

You just don't want it too smooth that rough ride to me is part of the cars personality.

Re: 86 mustang feeling.

It all depends on how far you wanna go.....the car is 25 years old.

I'd say rebuild the front end.....rod ends, bushings, ball joints. Fresh bushings in the rear control arms. Subframe connectors make a foxbody feel LOADS better. Fresh shocks/struts/springs.

After 25 years stuff wears out.....replace all of the stuff that is supposed to help it ride. Main additiona I'd advise is subframe connectors. They REALLY tie that chassis together.

I would go for subframe connectors also. This was the first thing I did to mine and it vastly improves the car. I also still run the 15" wheels to maintain the sleeper look. I enjoy rides in the car, no harsh jars from large wheels.
