Auto to manual

I was just wondering what's all involved in swapping an auto to a stick the guy I bought it from put the pedal in all ready and I got to push it in to start it

91 model??? Not much really. Shouldn't need a PCM reprogram or anything. The older year is pretty much plug and play if I remember right.

+1, the aod PCM will work just fine with no problems. Like Texas said it's all plug and play except for the speedo gear at the end of the speedometer cable that go's into the tranny.

you need more than just trans parts though, like wiring harness for the back end of the car~

That's only if he wants to run the a9l ecu. If he uses the aod ecu that's already in the car he won't need to add the harness.

You'll need the trans, shifter, cross member & trans mount, clutch/pp/flywheel, speedo gear, and a clutch cable. Get a firewall adjuster too. It'd also be nice if you could locate the bracket that bolts up to the cylinder head that holds the clutch cable out of the way.

You may be able to use/modify that cross member....not sure.
