Fuel tank!

Will a 91 mustang fuel tank work in my 95gt? I can pick one up for $30 but I'm not sure if it will fit.

Re: Fuel tank!

I don't think so. I looked up a 90 tank and the fitment was 87-93.

Not sure? Any way you could look at them side by side before you buy?
There may be differences in the fuel filler or the fuel pump and sending unit mounting location.

True. I'm buying the tank either way because it has a new BBK 255lph pump. That alone is worth $100+. Here is a sad pic of the car it is coming from. It met up with a guardrail at 70+ mph.

A few broken ribs and a broken arm. If he would have had a passenger they would have been dead!

That's good to hear that he'll be ok and no one else was injured.

It's one thing to hurt yourself through your own actions and quite another to hurt someone else.

The tank itself will work, but the sending unit is different if I remember correctly.

As long as I can use the thank and fuel pump, I can get a new sending unit from LMRS.

He is parting it out. Look on craigslist under central Michigan or grand rapids Michigan. He is keeping the motor and tranny but the rest is going.
