Probably the easiest/cheapest way would be to use a donor car. Don't really know what parts you'd need though...

Re: A/C Help!

It all depends on what may have been left on the car....you'll need compressor, evaporator core, condenser, lines, dryer, and switches/relays/sensors.

Re: A/C Help!

Sorry, but cheap & A/C parts just don't go together.

If you buy cheap/used parts you will probably end up spending more than new parts would have cost trying to get everything to work.

The donor car idea is your best bet, but make sure the A/C is/was working properly before you buy and replace all seals or hoses to ensure your refrigerant stays in the system.

If you get used parts make sure to have them flushed.

I think it would be best if you went to see a qualified A/C repair mechanic.
They can look at your car to see what is missing and what you will need to replace and give you a parts list.

If everything was removed, I would look it to a full kit from Late Model Restoration! It pretty high but as was said earlier it's never cheap when it comes to A/C's!
If you go with a donor and depending on if the system was open or not you are gonna want to replace the dryer with a new part and it's always best to replace the hoses! I personally don't recommend using a donor car cuz you never know what you're getting unless you know first hand that the A/C was in working condition before the swap! If I'm not mistaken, If a system was left open for even a day you have to replace all the seals and the dryer because moisture from the atmosphere completely ruins them
