I have had this car roughly a week it has a v2 vortech on it with the vortech fmu , would a 255 bbk fuel pump and 42lb injectors be good to run it? The guy I bought it from didn't know much about it and from what I and ppl ik can tel it has stock 19lb injectors and most likely stock fuel pump and I was the the charger is on 8psi no boost gauge so idk

Re: Supercharger questions

you going to up the boost? at 8psi it probably needs more than 19 for sure, 39's would probably work. Be careful running it until its tuned right.

I'd like to run 10psi and later on throw heads intake and cam on that's y I'm thinking 42lb injectors and as for a tune there just so expensive...it will b awhile b4 that

Re: Supercharger questions

yea, 42s will give room to grow probably. I have 39s and I run 14psi, im fine~

the tune is the most important part of course.

Re: Supercharger questions

seem to be good, but with a supercharged car I would HIGHLY recommend a customer dyno tune session to make sure its safe and done right. Email tunes can get close but on custom cars with superchargers where they didnt come with them and such it can be tricky and dangerous.
