It's a scam. I checked into it some time back. Nothing but a ripoff.

If you are not hard core and at the tracks constantly you probably won't have much luck.
First you have to go out and get a bunch of wins to your credit.
Once you have those with the trophies and photos to prove it, then you go personally to meet with potential sponsors. Then you talk with them and show them your accomplishments and if you have enough impressive accomplishments, they "might" consider sponsoring you.

Speaking from expirience it sounds great n all but unless your constantly at carshows and different tracks then its pretty much pointless! And my sign up fee was only $39.95!

Re: anyone heard of this?

the ONLY real way to get sponsors is to have already spent tons of money on your car, basically you have to have something the company would want their product to be seen on... which 99% of the time people want sponsorships to GET stuff to start with... basically you have to have the nice car to get parts to make it nicer~ if that makes since lol

The companies/sites that want money to get you sponsored is 100% scam

One quote I will vividly remember forever was hearing Steve Saleen comment on how expensive racing is to maintain. Crashing can definitely end your racing career quickly but so can going broke.
