Turbo question!

So I went to a few yard sales today and found a brand new Turbo for an Audi and VW. I bought it for $20. Hell of a deal an if it won't work for my car I'll just sell it and make profit to buy one made for my car. Anyways I have a 306 stroke 93 mustang lx as I'm sure most of you know. So would this be sufficient for my car at all or a waste of time and money to buy the piping for it. And will it fit at all?

The piping is super easy to make. Me and a friend did this same thing on a 94 5.0. I believe the turbo was of a diesel truck though but as for the piping we custom made it all. Took like a day to make all the pipe.

Re: Turbo question!

All I can find is that it is for a 1.8 liter engine.
It would probably take 3 or 4 of that size to do you any good.

I think it would work for my 3 cylinder diesel tractor (23 HP) though.
If you want to sell it, PM me a price you would take for it and maybe we can deal.

I found the turbo on eBay for $700. So I think I'm going to Try and resell it for $550 locally as I don't like to deal with eBay and them charging to sell stuff.

Re: Turbo question!

WOW! I never would have guessed that, that "mini" turbo would sell for that much. Remind me to never buy a Turbocharged VW or Audi.

You may be able to get enough out of that to have a good start on a properly sized system.

Yea that's what I'm shooting for, didn't realize they was that exp either. I just posted it on the local craigslist for $550. Hopefully it sells soon. It's a steel for a VW or Audi enthusiast.
