I just want to get everyones opinion on this... Lol. I'm not asking which is faster. Because I know which one is..I'm just getting everyones opinion. A 1970 Monte Carlo with a 350 bored .60 over to a 358 and an edelbrock 4 barrel vs my 89 mustang. Full details on my engine are on my profile.. It's alot to type.

Yeah. It'll run. It's only bored over though. Everything that's done to it is listed.

Haha, yeah. Thanks. I've only got one set of tires and I can't get them to hook up so if we went to the track I'd lose...launching at 2500 I spin through second and have to let off.

Practice launching, feather the clutch out until it the tires are hooked, then GO!

That Monte weighs a good bit more than your Mustang, so you shouldn't have a problem, but it doesn't ever hurt to hedge your bets a bit. Remove everything you can to lessen your weight even more and run with a 1/4 tank of fuel.
The lighter your car is the faster it will accelerate.

Yeah. It's my daily driver and that's his daily driver and he's even still got the air box on his. I think I need some heads to wake my car up. I have e7s but the e7 came stock on the 85-95 5.0s and mine is an early 80s model. So they're better than stock...but not that great.
