Hey guys i need help - Mustang Evolution

Hey guys i need help

So I have a 91 lx that I just did I motor and tranny swap on I turned it from an auto to a 5speed and now my tranny is messing up when u down shift it doesn't want you to go into the gears and it sounds like something is grinding when I go from 3rd to 4th please help

Sounds like you either have a misadjusted or worn out clutch, or possibly a stretched cable.
Another possibility is worn synchros in the transmission.

Yeah it was in good shape when I bought it the guy sold me the motor and tranny both it was shifting really good then it started doing this and someone told me it might be the fork I put a new clutch in it when I swapped everything over

Yes, it could be a bent shifting fork in the transmission if it doesn't have a positive stop aftermarket shifter and you have been "banging" gears pretty hard.

Yes it could because if it is bent then the gears are not being fully engaged, which can damage your transmission.
