Re: Gauge help

you will probably have to tap into the fuel rail to get a reading on it

Re: Gauge help

Under the hood - Fuel Pressure Gauge Installation

To install a gauge inside the car will require an isolator & #4 hose or an electronic gauge.
Never run a fuel line inside the passenger compartment.

Well.....DUH!
I'm sorry, I just naturally figured it was a pressure gauge.
Let me see what I can come up with.

Side Note: If you want to more closely match your speedometer to your other gauges, you can paint the black trim with some #1403 Krylon Dull Aluminum spray paint. It is amazingly close to a natural aluminum color.

What is the number of your gauge?
That will make it easier to find.

Here are the instructions for the Auto Meter 1317. 1317 Fuel Level Gauge
It is electrical and not mechanical.
Scroll down about halfway to find the diagram.

Ok, I have never seen anything like that before.
Why not just put in a roll bar and fasten the harnesses to it?

Never heard that they could injure you like that, but without the top bar you wouldn't have anyplace for the shoulder belts.
