lowering kits

I've heard most guys say just cut your stock springs and lower it, but I've decided a proper kit may be better for me, the question I know have is what is the difference between a progressive spring kit and a static/standard spring kit? I'm looking for something to give me a nice comfortable ride and a mean stance with a nice forward rake. I don't care how low

Re: lowering kits

progressive just means the more the spring is pushed down the harder is pushes back (coils get tighter)

linear/static is the same rate the entire time. A progressive should give better ride and still handle good.
