header question

hey can someone help me i got gt40p heads and out the headers that are made for gt40p heads on my 94 but they dont have an egr hole is there a way to delete that or what? i need to kno my mechanic is working on it now and he doesnt kno what to to do hes new to mustangs he said if you block it that ill need something for the computer or it will mess up the timing or something please someone help me this is turning into a huge pain i need the car back to get to work any help is great thanks

ok figured that out now i need to kno how to find an egr block off plate? anyone kno where to get one?

The easiest thing to do would be to just weld the fitting you need on the headers.
Or get an EGR Delete Plate and an EGR Eliminator

I don't know.
When you click on the fits applications link you get this:

JEGS Performance Products 14911 Fits Applications
FORD
MUSTANG
1987-1993

It will likely be a plate similar to that one.
Just remove your EGR and fabricate a plate to cover the hole.

It is a simple plate with two holes in it and a gasket to seal it up.
Mustang EGR delete plate eliminator 94 95 1994 1995 5.0

Here is how to make the eliminator to turn off the CEL.
Note: This only keeps the CEL light from coming on.
You may still get an EGR code when scanning the computer.
The only way to completely eliminate the EGR is to have a chip burned that removes the EGR function from the ECU.
