little problems in the fox.

Frustration. I put the 351 in my 82 fox and I have the smallest belt possible that will fit on my car but after a few min of running the belt flies off. Any ideas I need some help

Re: little problems in the fox.

Take a piece of string or a straight edge if you have one long enough and check your pulley alignment.

Harmonic balanced bolts worked their way out and I didn't notice a little mistake I will try a bit longer bolts. Cause this harmonic balancer is jacked up lol previous owner thought it would be cool to ghetto rig. When I get the money I will get a new one

Glad you found the problem.
Replace the balancer before you run the engine much if it is damaged.
It can cause a lot of problems if it is out of balance.

Then run a thread tap through the holes to restore the threads as much as possible and use some Blue Threadlocker on the bolt threads to help keep them tight.
