302 to 307

What makes a 307? Is it just the bore? And what would that bore be? Or is it both bore and head chamber clearance?

Thank you, I appreciate your help. I have a friend of a friend selling this "307" engine with edelbrock performer heads and complete intake, with everything and ready to run with 50 k on the engine. How much would something like this be worth?

Umm, honestly, I wouldn't know... You could probably post a thread with more info about the engine and get some responses there.

How much does he want?

Actual worth price = As much as he can get - averaged with - as much or as little as you want to pay.

Look up prices on the parts he has in the engine, add some for assembly, then subtract an amount that's fair for usage.

Re: 302 to 307

306 is .30 over. 308 is .40 over ... And so on. The xtra c.i. Comes from the bore size only
