It means your tounge won't move until your jaws reach 2500 rpms.
It really means that the torque convertor will slip until you reach 2500 rpms at which point it will lock up solid and spin the tires or begin moving the car.
You can "flash" the convertor by holding the foot brake and reving the engine slowly up to the point where it breaks the back tires loose.
That will give you a "rough" idea of what the convertor's stall speed is.
Ok so let's say ur sitting at a stop light and it turns green the car wont start moving till thee rpms get to 2500 would it make the tire spin then? Im just curious cause I was looking at them and wondered how they work
No, it will move before then if you are not holding the brake.
It feels about like a manual transmission when you are slipping the clutch.
But, if you mashed the throttle down then it would flash up to its stall speed and likely spin the tires.
Build you a good AOD so you will have that OD gear to help save you some fuel.
