well the interior of my car isnt the best and i had a couple questions about electrical work. the passenger window dont roll down, the blinkers come on but dont blink, the cigarette lighter dont work. does this sound like a blown fuse or what other problems could this be?
Could be a blown fuse, burned up window motor, bad flasher or burned up, hacked up wiring.
Buy a Chiltons or Haynes manual that has the wiring diagrams for your car and start tracing wires.
Just try to hit the center of the door wile holding down the window down button. The cig lighter is usually a fuse problem but the blinker prob might be a out bulb in the front or back of the car.
Window motor sounds as though it's toast. The signals sound like bad relay, get an electronics replacement and nit thermal. The cig lighter is fuse or wiring behind has come loose.
Passenger window could be the motor or regulator. The blinker problem is definitely the relay, but you might as well replace the OEM Turn Signal Assembly while you're doing it. Sometimes the switches go bad because of the age of the cars, mine was doing the same thing. Cigarrette lighter is the wiring too. I feel your pain.
Check fuses,bulbs,and flasher...
As for the window fox's are known for the window switchs to go bad over time if you take the door panel off you can unplug the motor and jump it to check if its working much easier then replacing it!..LRS has new swiches for about 15$....
And as for the regulator that is just the gears that make the window go up or down.If it was bad you would still hear the motor running, but the window wouldn't move!....
By the way, much cheaper to replace the three bushings in the motor than replacing it.
