Lightbulb Which Exhaust Should I Go With?

i am about to be putting on a new exhaust and i wanted some opinions on what i should go with. i want it to have a nice deep sound to it, i also dont want to pay a lot of money for something that i aint happy with. i have had 3 chamber mufflers on a couple vehicles and wasnt to impressed. any ideas or favorites out their? its a stock 1992 5.0, and should i go with h-pipes or x-pipes as well as what type of muffler?

H pipe and flowmasters. Nothing sounds better then a 302 with flowmasters

Deeper sound, go with the h-pipe to 10 series flowmasters. I have an x-pipe with the 10's and it's deep at idle but raspy higher in the rpm's.

Or do a full Borla or bassani exhaust. Those sound like heaven on earth, but pricey.

I liked the sound with my h-pipe on my car, but I like the hollowed out rasp of the x-pipe.

H-Pipe & Flowmaster American Thunder
I listed the LX version because I think it sounds better with the pipes straight out the back with no turn downs like the GT version has.

Have anyone tried the flotech warlocks out? I was debating on getting them or the 10 series...I haven't head warlocks on a Foxbody but the 10's are decent sounding. i need to get something to replace the straight pipe im running now.

I'm 100% with the "Magnaflow". H or X is up to you, I have X on mine, but you can't go wrong with either.

The x pipe usually costs 10-20 dollars more.

Prochamber H and single chamber mufflers, best push rod sound available IMO with stock manifolds.

Thanks "5.slow" for adding that Info. No "crkmonso", I have no estimate or guess on what I think of the difference. I just feel that with either one X or H, you can't go wrong.

What's the difference between an x or an h pipe? Is it just user preference?

X has a little more horsepower and a raspy sound. H has a deeper tone.

And....
The H-Pipe makes more power in the lower RPM range and the X-Pipe makes more power in the upper RPM range.

I like the magnaflow better, but it is all preference. Go to mustangexhaust.com and have a listen.
