Ditching power steering?

My rack and pinnion leaks like crazy, thinking about going with a manual steering rack. Since I can't hold power steering fluid over a day and I am running with no power steering really due to this problem, well it steer okay if I just bypass power steering pump by swapping belts?

No, not really. The power rack will turn a lot harder than a regular manual rack.
But I guess if that doesn't bother you, you could.

Flaming river has a manual rack and pinion setup ive been thinking about getting...
Just another way to eliminate more moving parts(and weight)!..mine leaks a little as well and I just replaced the oil pan gasket, rear main, and valve cover gaskets so this leak drives me nutts!!..
I think the manual rack is around 200$ and im not sure if its comes with all the hardware you need..??..
