Power adder

Have a 1993 lightning motor in my 1991 GT looking for a good power adder. I priced a turbonetics turbo kit and didn't see too many reviews but does anyone know about them?

That would be great!

Good find on your Paxton.
I found my Paxton Novi 2000 for half price, but it was still almost 3x times that price.

I've been searching for almost a year now everyday so I think I'm going with the Paxton super charger. Just hope it doesn't sell before I can get the money. Another question for you don't know if the kit has injectors with it so what would be a good fit for 8lbs of boost? I already have 24lb injectors

The heads are GT 40 factory from a ford lightning. I'm not sure what cam is in it. The whole motor was rebuilt when I bought it.

Re: Power adder

the cumbustion chambers are small on those heads. so ur cam isnt much bigger than the .529 lift range. i am gonna say a set of 30lbs. should be fine. you will have room to grow like maybe 14-15psi of boost. but you will pretty much be at your limit as far as not having to get a tune.

keep your timing at 10 degrees advance, i dont recommend bumping up to 12, stay at 10 so u dont shatter a piston.

do not run an fmu with the set-up, u will be fine without it.
