u need 30lbs injectors... prolly dont need the btm box, wut is ur timing set at? and u prolly need to get rid of the fmu when u jump up to 30's. most importantly, how much boost u running? u got too much cam for 24's under any boost level to b honest with u.

Re: Mustang5.0 supercharged tuning qustion help plz

6lbs pulley is ok for a stock cam with those heads. your maxed out with only 24's, 6lbs pulley, and cam. ur running outa fuel midway through your rpm range which is most likely y u blew a head gasket (it got hot as fuk in the cylinder, with no fuel to cool it down).

42's are waaay too lrge to run without a tune.

if u get 30's u will be fine, and u can run your 10lbs pulley. it should have u somewhere in the 450-465rwhp range.

u can run this set-up without a tune, btm, or fmu fine.

Re: Mustang5.0 supercharged tuning qustion help plz

ty, and no. if u run less than 10 degress the computer isnt gonna like it and your gonna create other issues. when u run boost, u multiply the copression in the cylinder over stock/static compression ratio. u need fuel to cool down the cylinders to stave off detination. the more boost u run, the more fuel u need.

example. 9.5:1 in a e7 head will ramp up to 17.1:1 with around 11-12psi of boost. pulling back the timing is only gonna help up to a certain point. the xtra compression makes heat, u gotta have fuel to cool down the cylinder. i hope wut i said makes sense.

there is actualy a slide chart to show static compression increase per pound of boost, but i cant remember wut i did with it.

Don't forget you will also need a MAF sized for the injectors you will be using.
