Rear seat delete

Has anyone done it? If so how hard was it I'm thinking about it to place a sub and amp under the space it creates.

I've not done mine yet, but they are not hard to do.
I plan on fabbing and fitting mine from cardboard first, then using the cardboard for a template to cut out the aluminum I plan to use. I'm using aluminum for strength and weight. I can have it bead rolled to strengthen the plate and cut down on vibration and noise.

If you are wanting to install a high powered stereo system you may want to use something a bit thicker and heavier than the standard 1/8" to 1/4" wood or composite board materials to prevent rattling, vibrating and to help direct the sound.

Use 1/2" medium density fiberboard to make it

Re: Rear seat delete

Something to consider is whether or not you want or need the rear bulkhead covered.
I do, because of battery relocation and other reasons.

Example: Bulkhead Cover
