is 92,000 miles too much ?

So I just bought a clean cobra 95 with the stated amount of miles on it? Would it just be too much for it to put in mods

If it has been cared for and not overly abused, I wouldn't hesitate.

I wouldn't worry to much about the mileage, is all that on the motor though?

If it makes you feel better my 88 mustang has over $20,000.00 invested in interior, exterior, and under the hood when I only paid $3,700.00 for it a year and a half ago...has about 167,000 miles on it. It is not about the miles, it's about our roots as men to feel the ponies true power. Once you start the mod it will be a never-ending process. Check out my photos.

Re: is 92,000 miles too much ?

are you wanting to keep low miles as a collector car? It IS the LAST PUSHROD SVT Cobra after all...

IF your going to mod, HAVE AT IT!!!!!!!!

These 5.0's refuse to break, even at full gallop and repeated abuse of the whip.

good miles for the year, but it all depends on how it was taken care of

if you by alot of parts for your motor and something does happen,(depending on what you do)most of your parts should still be usable for your next motor.

My 1988 GT has 276,000 miles on it and it sat for 4 years with no oil in it and the timing cover removed because I couldn't afford the parts to fix it at the time. Put oil in it and installed the new parts and turned the key within 30 seconds it started right up and runs as strong as ever. And the motor has never been ripped open. O ya it sat outside with no cover on it and I live on the water in NJ. Lol I love this car.

I bought my first 95GT with 99k and threw every bolt on I could find at it and broke 3rd in the stock T-5 at exactly 175k and broke 2nd in a 3550 Tremec around 215k, sold the car at around 225k-230k and it still ran great! In the 5 plus years I owned it it never went a day it didn't see 5 Grand at least once. Hence my purchase of my current 95. It was bone stock when I bought it though save for the mufflers! I say have at it!!!
