New gear install prices

Really wanting a 4:10 because to me 1st gear is ok 2nd not so much and 3rd it falls flat on its face!..im not worried about highway cruzing...(i can garantee I get horrible mpg's already cause of my driving habbits) and just want to know the price range of a gear install beacuse im not touching it myself!..
I have done all the work on my car myself exept for the exhaust so I have no idea what to expect!...can I order my own parts and have a shop install them?..or will they want to order everything themselves etc?..

According to the mechanics manual it takes approximately 5 hours labor, so multiply that by the labor rate and it should put you somewhere in the 400-500 plus parts range depending on where you live.

Im sure most places will let you order your own parts and they will install. You just have to make sure u have everything you need for them to get the job done right.

You may be able to find a smaller shop that will do it fairly cheap. A shop close to me is going to install mine for 200.

It is a steal, I would rather rebuild another auto tranny versus putting gears myself again any day. Just don't have the patience for it anymore.
