It's always a possibility, what is your trans doing?

Its a it's low on fluid. Like you have to rev it up to get it to move and it acts like it binding up

Did you re-use your torque converter or did you swap it too. Sounds like a worn out torque converter to me.

Re: AODE Transmission

Sounds like transmission pump/pressure problems to me.
I think "he" just doesn't want to refund your money, but it is possible that your ECU has issues.
Have it scanned and see what shows up.

Overfull would usually make the granny fluid really bubbly. Check for bubbles on the stick. And the transmission controls don't always set a light.

Re: AODE Transmission

If you overfill an automatic and drive it that way there is a good chance you will blow out some internal seals.
On an automatic too much is as bad as not enough when it comes to fluid.

I don't understand for sure what you are asking, but the neutral safety switch would keep it from starting if there was a malfunction in the switch.

Re: AODE Transmission

You may need to change out your MLPS (Manual Lever Position Sensor) and make sure your cable(s) are adjusted properly.

Down on your trans where the shifter cable attaches.
If you don't already own one, you need to get a Chiltons or Haynes manual for your car. It will help when troubleshooting and fixing problems.

No, that's the VSS.
The MLPS fits over the transmission gear selector shaft.
