Rocker arm question?

Hey guys I've been buying parts to build my car for about 3 years now and I finally have everything , but I bought 1.6 crane cam 3/8 stud rocker arms from a guy at the speed shop there brand new never installed paid $120 for them , but the heads that I bought require pedestal mount rocker arms so I was looking online for new rocker arms and I came across this page from crane with a pedestal mount to stud mount conversion kit , so my question is has anyone heard about this kit or know anything about it?

I believe muscle mustangs and fast fords did that conversion on a set of heads they used. I would check out their site and see how they rated it.

Re: Rocker arm question?

I have used the Crane pedestal mount conversion kit before.
It works just fine.
Use some Loctite Blue threadlocker on the bottom of the studs where they screw into the head. This will keep them from coming loose.
I can't remember if they came with the kit or not, but you will need some poly-locks (locking nuts) too.

Do you remember the correct part # , and what's a good set of locking nuts?

Let me see if I can find the part number and let's make sure the nuts are not included before we look for any.
